Local concert organiser Star Planet announced today (May 28) that the Super Junior World Tour – Super Show 8: Infinite Time in Kuala Lumpur has been officially cancelled.

The South Korean boyband was originally scheduled to perform the KL leg of their world tour on March 1 at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

Then the K-pop show was initially postponed in February due to the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic.

But, after several months of movement control order (MCO) in Malaysia, it became apparent that the rescheduled event will not happen within the year due to the social distancing rules required to battle the Covid-19 pandemic.

In a press release, Star Planet extended its apologies to fans who had been looking forward to the event and stated its commitment to bringing the event back to Malaysia in the future.

All concert ticket refunds will be processed starting June 11, 2020.

For tickets purchased online via www.myticket.asia, the refund amount will be automatically credited to the credit/debit card used to make the payment.

Those who bought tickets via Star Planet or My Ticket Asia’s authorised outlets are required to complete and submit a Refund Authorisation Form to SS8.ticketing@starplanet.com.my by June 5, 2020 to facilitate the processing of refunds.

The form is available from www.starplanet.com.my.
