Legend Of Ancient Borneo, an animated short film from Sabah’s All-For-One Productions, premieres on its official Facebook today (May 18) at 4pm.

The almost nine-minute feature is the first animated short film in Kadazan. This news was reported by Daily Express Online.

According to the film’s official Facebook page, the story is based on a fantasy short comic by Sabahan duo Kwan Thung Seng and Robertson Sondoh Jr. The animation was all done in Sabah as well.

The trailer showcases four warriors – each with their own superpower – going after a gang of baddies that took a sacred item from their village.

Since the film's completion in June last year, the short feature has travelled around the world at various festivals. Earlier this year, it was shown at three festivals in the United States – LTUE Film Festival, Kansas Underground Film Festival and 21 Islands International Short Film Fest.
