Punk rock icon and cultural commentator Henry Rollins has announced a Kuala Lumpur live performance for his "Good To See You" 2022 spoken word tour, which also stops in Asian capitals such as Tokyo, Bangkok and Singapore this October.

Rollins (of Blag Flag and Rollins Band fame) will present a one-man show at the KL Plenary Hall, KL Convention Centre on Oct 23. It is also his first visit to Malaysia. His last visit to this region was with the Rollins Band in Singapore in 1992.

The tour will see the 61-year-old artiste hit the stage and “faithfully recount the events of his life in the brief pre-Covid period since the last tour and when things got even stranger over the last several months."

"It's been an interesting time to say the least and he's got some great stories to tell,” outlines a tour statement.

Good To See You has already toured extensively in clubs and festivals across North America.

In a more than 40-year-old career, Rollins has embarked on many music projects and held down diverse creative roles, including singer-songwriter, spoken word artist, writer, publisher, actor, and radio deejay.

Tickets for the Kuala Lumpur show go on general sale on Aug 4.
