Souls Impact Percussion's 'Wuwuming' explores desire through dance and drums

The Souls Impact Percussion (SIP) dance theatre collective isn't into rushing out productions. In fact, the Kuala Lumpur group's newest performance, Wuwuming (No Ignorance), took two years to complete.

A rousing blend of drums, dance and dramatic theatre inspired by the Heart Sutra, a popular Buddhist scripture, Wuwuming is finally ready for a roll-out. Created by SIP artistic director Cross Chin (Chin Chun Ket), the show opens at the KL Performing Arts Centre on June 14.
