ODD things dwell in Liquid City. Eyeball-eating rodents, giant whales and girls who sleep on fried-egg pillows. It’s a freak carnival that Malaysian-born, Singapore-based comic artist Sonny Liew is dragging to town this weekend. Over extra hours squeezed in between day-to-day/night-to-night work, Liew pooled the talents of 24 comics creators to produce Vol.1 of Liquid City, a South-East Asian collection of short graphic stories.
