Liquid gold

There is an inconspicuous terrace house with a neat garden in Taman Desa, Kuala Lumpur, which harbours more than 50 “immigrants” within its walls. Most of the have made their way to a-fish-ionado Jason Kew Tech Keong’s home from China and Hong Kong. But you wouldn’t know it from the outside. All appears calm and orderly; all you can hear is birdsong and the sound of running water.  

Kew, 37, started dabbling in goldfish before he started school. Once, back then, a blackout caused his tank aerator to cut out. What’s a boy to do, but grab a straw and start blowing bubbles of his own?
