I HAVE always been a fan of competition-based reality TV shows. My favourites are The Amazing Race series, both the American and Asian versions (though the current Season Four of the Asian race has been pretty dull), Project Runway (the American show for up-and-coming fashion designers) and, up until a couple of seasons ago, American Idol.
