It arrived with a bang on Sept 9, 2003, but after 16 months, Malaysia's fourth terrestrial TV station Channel 9 temporarily went off the air. Now after a 12-month hiatus, the station is making a comeback with a new image, branding and name – TV9.
With its tagline, Dekat di Hati (Close to the Heart), and new logo, the station hopes to capture the traditional Malay market.
