Guitar talent

Hailed as Scotland’s finest classical guitarist, Matthew McAllister was only five years old when he picked up the guitar, after he was inspired by listening to his father’s many guitar records. At that time, his parents (like all other parents) were hesitant about buying him one as they weren’t sure if it was just a passing fancy or something their son would take up seriously.

Funnily enough, it was a neighbour who bought him his first guitar, a cheap second-hand one at that, probably tired of little McAllister disturbing him! It turns out that he had quite a talent for the instrument as he has since gone on to perform on television and garnered a number of awards.
