Film festival to showcase Malaysian talents

The 21st instalment of Malaysian Film Festival (FFM21) is well underway. This year, the theme for the festival is Towards Excellence in Film Production and it’s nice to note that the committee has shortlisted a total 103 nominations that will compete in five different categories including Feature Film, Digital Film, Animation, Short Film and Documentary. The awards presentation takes place this Saturday at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre in Putrajaya; and today the names of the five finalists in each category vying for top spot will be announced.

To create the hype for the festival a roadshow took place from July 6 until yesterday and visited several spots in the Klang Valley including Balakong, Sri Kembangan, Bangi and Putrajaya.
