SSF Home plans RM42mil land acquisition

PETALING JAYA: SSF Home Group Bhd is proposing to acquire three parcels of leasehold land totalling 52,611 sq m in Pulau Indah, Selangor, from IFFCO Foods Sdn Bhd for RM42.47mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, SSF said the proposed acquisition is in line with the group’s long-term business strategy to enhance its warehousing and logistics capabilities, improve operational efficiency and support its future business expansion.

“The proposed acquisition will enable the group to construct its own warehouse facilities, thereby reducing its reliance on rented premises and providing greater flexibility in managing its warehousing and distribution operations.

“The strategic location of the lands is also expected to facilitate more efficient logistics operations and potentially result in long-term cost savings,” the company said.
