PETALING JAYA: AME Real Estate Investment Trust
(AME REIT) registered an 11.5% increase in net property income (NPI) to RM16mil for the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2026 from RM14.4mil in the previous corresponding quarter.
In a statement, the industrial REIT said the improved NPI was driven by an 11.9% growth in rental income to RM17.5mil from RM15.7mil previously.
“The steady operational performance reflects contributions from three newly acquired properties that were added to the portfolio after the corresponding quarter last year. Additionally, the portfolio’s resilience was reinforced by positive rental reversions on tenancy renewals.
During the quarter, AME REIT also recognised an unrealised fair value gain on investment properties of RM5mil, resulting in net income rising by 56% to RM15.2mil from RM9.7mil a year ago.
After adjustments for the fair value gain net of deferred tax expenses, unbilled lease income receivables, and non-cash items, distributable income stood at RM11.7mil.
