Willowglen MSC bags RM17.8mil MRT Kajang Line upgrade contract


PETALING JAYA: Willowglen MSC Bhd has been awarded a contract valued at approximately RM17.8mil by Mass Rapid Transit Corp Sdn Bhd for the upgrading of the public address/passenger information display system for the MRT Kajang Line.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Willowglen said the contract was secured by its wholly-owned subsidiary, Willowglen (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd.

“The commencement date of the contract is on Oct 2, 2026 and will be completed by Oct 1, 2028.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the group's earnings and net assets per share for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026 to 2028.”

Willowglen said the contract is not renewable and the risks in respect of the contract are the normal business risks.

“None of the directors and/or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect in the new contract awarded,” said the company.
