KUALA LUMPUR: Hextar Capital Bhd's subsidiary Legacy Core Sdn Bhd has secured a RM60mil subcontract for the upgrading of Jalan Oya (Phase 2) in Sibu, Sarawak from Doland (M) Sdn Bhd.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Hextar Capital said the project, owned by the Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR Sarawak), involves road works, drainage and services relocation.

The contract will run from Oct 2, 2026 to Feb 11, 2029.

Hextar Capital said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and throughout the duration of the project.
