’s wholly-owned subsidiary Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd has secured a subcontract worth about RM124mil for electrical works at a data centre in Johor.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, HE Group said Hexatech received the subcontract from an engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) company.
The subcontract involves the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of main electrical works for the data centre.
The EPCM company is a foreign-owned company incorporated in Malaysia, specialising in construction, civil engineering and the offshore oil and gas sectors.
"The contract value is approximately RM124mil, subject to any variations, additions and/or omissions to be made only in accordance with the express terms of the subcontractor contract," HE Group said.
The project will commence upon acceptance of the subcontract and is scheduled for completion by March 27, 2028.
HE Group said the subcontract is expected to contribute positively to its future earnings.
