KUALA LUMPUR: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd has secured a RM72.84mil contract for power infrastructure works for a data centre at Banting Technology Park in Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary Jati Tinggi Holding Sdn Bhd had accepted the letter of award from a Malaysian company involved in computer consultancy, data processing and hosting infrastructure services.

The contract covers the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of two circuits of 275kV underground power cables and overhead line cables, transmission towers and associated works.

The infrastructure will provide the power connection to the consumer landing station for the data centre.

The contract runs from Sept 18, 2026 to Jan 15, 2027, with a 24-month defects liability period following practical completion.

Jati Tinggi said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share over its duration.
