Crest Builder unit bags RM56.88mil electrical works from Pesona Metro

KUALA LUMPUR: Crest Builder Holdings Bhd said its wholly-owned subsidiary CBTECH (M) Sdn Bhd has secured a RM56.88mil contract from Pesona Metro Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Pesona Metro Holdings Bhd, as the subcontractor for the electrical services of the proposed commercial development Phase 1A retail mall and Phase 1C office Tower 1 located in Bandar Sri Damansara, in Sungai Buloh, Selangor.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract shall commence on Sept 1, 2026, with the completion date scheduled for March 17, 2028.

The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2026, and onwards.

With this new win, the group’s mechanical and electrical outstanding order book stands at about RM250mil.

Adding this to the group’s construction segment’s RM1.6bil, the group’s total outstanding order book stands at about RM1.9bil, providing earnings visibility over the next three years.

“The latest contract secured by CBTech marks another important step in the Group’s strategy to broaden our earnings base beyond our traditional construction activities. We see M&E as a natural extension of our existing capabilities and an area where Crest Builder can progressively build greater scale," said group managing director Eric Yong in a statement.
