In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MSC said RHT received written approval from the Department of Minerals and Geosciences Perak (JMG Perak) to resume mining operations effective Sept 11, 2026.
MSC said RHT remains committed to safe and responsible mining practices and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
“RHT will continue to work closely with the authorities on matters and issues relating to environmental safety, protection and preservation.
“It will monitor weather and site conditions closely and implement appropriate measures to manage extreme weather-related risks,” MSC said.
