TRC Synergy secures RM150mil hyperscale data centre contract


PETALING JAYA: TRC Synergy Bhd has secured a contract from Gamuda Engineering Sdn Bhd, in relation to hyperscale data centre sub-contract for underground services works, worth RM149.98mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, TRC said the contract, which commenced on Aug 14, 2026, is scheduled for completion by Nov 25, 2026.

“The contract will not have any effect on the issued share capital, the shareholdings of the substantial shareholders of the company.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, and net assets per share of the company throughout the duration of the contract.”

Save for the normal operational risks, TRC said it is not aware of any other significant risk factors which may arise from the contract.

“The board, after having considered all aspects of the contract, is of the opinion that the acceptance of the contract is within the ordinary course of business of the company and is in the best interest of the company.”
