QES proposes RM17.5mil acquisition of two Singapore office units

PETALING JAYA: QES Group Bhd is proposing to acquire two office units at New Industrial Road, Singapore from JVA Nir Pte Ltd for RM17.49mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, QES Group said the proposed acquisition will allow it to anticipate strong business growth, driven by its product and market expansion initiatives in the coming years.

“With this foresight, the company has decided to prepare ahead in order to eliminate possible business bottlenecks caused by the lack of physical operating space and limited space available for demonstration rooms for customers’ visitation.”

QES Group said the strategic location also provides good accessibility for employees and business partners.

“Its modern industrial design, established industrial precinct, and proximity to amenities and residential areas support employee convenience and operational efficiency.”

The company added that the proposed acquisition will expand its physical operating space to support the group’s future growth and expansion plans for its business activities in Singapore.
