KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd
(Maybank) has emerged as among the top winners at the inaugural Bursa Malaysia Investor Relations (IR) Awards 2026, clinching several major categories.
Maybank won Best Company in IR (Overall), Best Financial Reporting and Best Large-Cap Company in IR for Financial Services, while its president and group chief executive officer Datuk Seri Khairussaleh Ramli was named Best CEO in IR.
Tenaga Nasional Bhd received the Best Sustainability Communications award.
Bursa Malaysia said the awards, held on Sept 4, honoured 32 winners across eight main categories, recognising excellence in investor relations and encouraging higher standards of transparency, engagement and market communication among public listed companies. — Bernama
