KUALA LUMPUR: Censof Holdings Bhd
said its wholly-owned subsidiary Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has been appointed by Microsoft Malasia as a scale solution provier for Malaysia's public sector.
In a statement, the group said the appointment positions Century Software as an appointed channel for delivering Microsoft's full suite of cloud, productivity and security solutions, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Copilot, to the Federal Government, state governments, statutory bodies and government-linked companies (GLC) nationwide.
The appointment elevates Century Software from a specialist provider of financial management systems to a full-stack cloud and artificial intelligence channel partner for
Microsoft. This braodens the group's addressable market beyond its traditional software base.
It said the mandate is expected to establish a multi-year, recurring and higher-value revenue stream, while positioning the group at the centre of Malaysia's public sector digitalisation over the coming
three years and beyond.
"Being selected as a scale solution provider for Microsoft for the public sector is not just a commercial win, but also a significant milestone for Censof as we continue to strengthen the group’s position in Malaysia’s public sector digital ecosystem.
"By bringing together Century Software’s deep public sector expertise with the Group’s broader cloud, AI and digital technology capabilities, we are well positioned to support a wider range of government digitalisation needs," said Censof group managing director Ameer Shaik Mydin.
