CBH Engineering bags RM60mil data centre contract


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has accepted a work order from Company A for the design, supply, installation and commissioning works of a Consumer Substation (Phase 2) and medium voltage installation and commissioning of works for a data centre in Johor, worth RM59.6mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CBH said the contract shall be completed on Sept 19, 2027.

“The scope of works cover design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of electrical infrastructure for a data centre project, including a high voltage substation package and medium voltage works for the data centre.”

CBH said Company A was incorporated in Malaysia as a private company limited by shares and is principally engaged in activities of providing infrastructure for hosting, data processing services and related activities.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, and net assets per share of the company throughout the duration of the contract,” it said.
