YBS International proposes RM23.5mil Perai land acquisition

PETALING JAYA: YBS International Bhd is proposing to acquire a piece of land measuring approximately 8,088 sq metres in Perai, Penang from Premium Starhill Sdn Bhd for RM23.5mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, YBS said the land has a 5,558.21 sq metres factory building erected on it.

“The proposed acquisition is driven by increased customer demand, evidencing the group’s commitment to scaling its operations in line with market needs.

“This also represents a strategic move for YBS Group, as the property is close to the group’s existing plant sites and supply chain network.”

YBS said the proximity of the land enhances accessibility and facilitates more effective management oversight, supporting the expansion of the group’s business and operational activities.

“The expansion to this new facility is due to increased customer demand, and it would enable YBS Group to significantly increase its capacity to cater for customer orders and support future expansion plans.”
