ETA Group bags RM13.17mil Gombak deals

PETALING JAYA: ETA Group Bhd has executed two construction agreements for the design and build of industrial factory and warehouse buildings in Gombak, Selangor, with an aggregate contract value of RM13.17mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ETA Group noted that it had executed the agreements with Eckem Sdn Bhd and Entire Concept Sdn Bhd, which are both wholly- owned subsidiaries of Eckem Holdings Bhd.

“As part of the group’s broader repositioning, the group has diversified beyond its food manufacturing and distribution business into property development, property investment and management, and construction and construction-related activities, including the trading and supply of construction materials.

“The board has identified property and construction as a key growth pillar intended to broaden and strengthen the group’s earnings base and to reduce the group’s reliance on any single business segment,” it said.
