Vanzo names Greatmart exclusive Hong Kong distributor to expand regional footprint

KUALA LUMPUR: Vanzo Holdings Bhd has appointed Greatmart Development Ltd as the exclusive distributor of its products in Hong Kong, marking another step in the fragrance brand's regional expansion strategy.

In a statement, the air fragrance manufacturer said its wholly owned subsidiary, Vanzo Hong Kong Ltd, had entered into an initial two-year exclusive distribution agreement with Greatmart, with the arrangement subject to automatic renewal upon meeting agreed performance targets and compliance requirements.

Under the agreement, Greatmart will distribute selected Vanzo fragrance and home care products across Hong Kong and manage key retail channels, including Watsons Hong Kong, ParknShop and Fortress.

Vanzo said Hong Kong remains a strategic market due to its mature retail landscape and strong consumer demand for premium lifestyle and fragrance products.

Greatmart will also undertake marketing and promotional activities, develop retail distribution channels, and provide regular market intelligence and sales performance reports to support the brand's long-term growth.

The agreement covers Vanzo's range of car fragrances, reed diffusers, smart home diffusers, fragrance oil refills and selected licensed character collections, including Hello Kitty, Marvel and Disney Princess.

Executive director Eddie Ng said the partnership reflects Vanzo's confidence in Greatmart's retail expertise and market execution capabilities.

"Hong Kong remains an important strategic market for Vanzo, providing us with a strong platform to further enhance brand awareness and consumer accessibility.

“Through this collaboration, we aim to strengthen our retail footprint, accelerate market penetration and create sustainable growth opportunities for the Vanzo brand in the territory," he said.

Vanzo said the collaboration is expected to contribute positively to the group's revenue and earnings over the duration of the agreement while supporting its long-term growth objectives, barring unforeseen circumstances.
