CBH Engineering secures RM26.2mil substation upgrade job


PETALING JAYA: CBH Engineering Holding Bhd has accepted a letter of award from Company A to undertake the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (design and build) services works for the upgrading of a 275 kilovolts substation located in Selangor, worth RM26.2mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, CBH Engineering said Company A is a public listed company in Malaysia and is principally engaged in investment holding activities, property development and the provision of electricity.

“CBH Engineering is unable to disclose the identity of Company A in this announcement due to the confidentiality and publicity term in the Contract and also no consent has been obtained for the disclosure from Company A herein.”

CBH Engineering said the contract shall be completed in two stages.

The first stage shall be completed by Jan 15, 2027; and the final stage shall be completed by Feb 28, 2027.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, and net assets per share of the company throughout the duration of the contract.”
