KUALA LUMPUR: Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd
has appointed Anuar Ismail as its group chief executive officer (CEO), effective Aug 17, 2026, succeeding Datuk Ruslan Abdul Ghani, who will relinquish the post following his appointment to another Sarawak government-linked company.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the company said Anuar, who holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Case Western Reserve University in the United States, has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry.
His extensive career with Petroliam Nasional Bhd includes serving as head of state relations (senior general manager) under group strategic relations and communications, and as head of integrated hydrocarbon management (senior general manager) at Malaysia Petroleum Management.
