MMM Group auditor flags going concern uncertainty

PETALING JAYA: MMM Group Bhd's independent auditor, Messrs PKF PLT, has highlighted a material uncertainty related to the group's ability to continue as a going concern in its audit report for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.

The auditor noted that the company recorded a net loss of RM104,947, negative operating cash flow of RM2.81mil, and current liabilities exceeding current assets by RM1.47mil during the financial year.

The uncertainty is compounded by Bursa Malaysia's rejection of the company's proposed regularisation plan and the suspension and delisting notice issued on July 10, 2026.

The auditor said the group's ability to continue operating depends on generating sufficient cash flow, achieving its financial targets, meeting its obligations, and successfully addressing its PN17 status through an appeal to Bursa Malaysia.

Despite these concerns, the auditor's opinion on the financial statements remains unmodified.

“The company will appeal against Bursa Securities’ decision within the appeal timeframe. The group will continue to operate as a going concern and is satisfied that it has the resources to continue in business for the foreseeable future,” it said.
