SkyeChip upbeat on scalable IP-led growth prospects

PETALING JAYA: SkyeChip Bhd, an integrated chip (IC) design company specialising in silicon intellectual property (IP) and silicon products, remains confident about its business prospects.

Chairman Datuk Seri Wong Siew Hai said he viewed the company’s prospects with “measured confidence”.

“The secular tailwinds driving demand for advanced IC design, artificial intelligence adoption, high-performance computing growth, automotive electronics and industrial automation are structural and durable.

“Our business, anchored in proprietary silicon IP with full ownership of design rights, is inherently scalable,” he said in the group’s annual report, released yesterday.

Wong said each of the company’s IP blocks, once designed, can be licensed to multiple customers across multiple projects, generating recurring and compounding revenue streams.
