PETALING JAYA: Teo Seng Capital Bhd has appointed Nam Ya Jun as its managing director.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the poultry company said Nam (44) will succeed his uncle Nam Hiok Joo (59), who is retiring.

Ya Jun serves as the executive director of Ritma Prestasi Sdn Bhd, a key subsidiary of the group specialising in the distribution of animal healthcare products.

“He commenced his career with the Teo Seng Group on July 1, 2005 as an executive within the human resources and administrative department.

“In his early tenure, he was instrumental in overseeing the group's administrative functions while simultaneously spearheading the development of a structured business system for Ritma. His contributions led to his subsequent promotion to group assistant manager.”

On Jan 31, he was appointed as executive director of Ritma.

“Under his stewardship, the Animal Health Products & Consumables Division has achieved substantial growth, underpinned by innovative marketing strategies and robust business initiatives,” said the company.
