Leapco targets listing on ACE Market

PETALING JAYA: Leapco Holdings Bhd is eyeing a listing on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.

The company is principally involved in the design, manufacturing, supply and installation of electrical switchboards and switchgears, as well as related products and the provision of maintenance and other related services for electrical switchboards and switchgears.

In its prospectus exposure, the company said its initial public offering (IPO) will entail the public issue of 100 million new ordinary shares.

UOB Kay Hian (M) Sdn Bhd is the sponsor for the company’s IPO.

The company said the proceeds from the IPO will be utilised for the expansion of current and establishment of new sales and support offices, capital expenditure, repayment of bank borrowings and working capital, among others.
