Jati Tinggi wins RM86mil data centre contract


PETALING JAYA: Jati Tinggi Group Bhd (JTGB) has secured a contract from a customer to design and build a 275KV overhead line, landing station and associated substation primary systems at the Klang Valley Technology Park, Kapar, Selangor, worth RM86mil.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, JTGB said the contract includes civil and structural works, conductor installation, geographic information system interface works, landing station equipment, remote-end equipment supply, system integration, testing and final handover for commercial operation of a data centre.

“The contract shall be effective from the date for possession up to Sept 30, 2026,” it said.

JTGB said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share and net assets per share of the company.
