KUALA LUMPUR: YTL Power International Bhd’s Artificial Intelligence (AI) Labs (YTL AI Labs) has partnered with YTL Communications’ mobile operator Yes to bring ILMUchat, Malaysia’s AI, to expand access to advanced AI technologies for Malaysians nationwide.

In a joint statement, YTL AI Labs and Yes said ILMUchat, built by Malaysians for Malaysians, combines world-class AI capabilities with a deep understanding of local language, culture and context.

YTL AI Labs chief executive officer Foong Chee Mun said the partnership marks a major milestone, as ILMUchat is now available to over three million people across the country through Yes, positioning it as Malaysia’s AI-first telco.

Meanwhile, YTL Communications chief executive officer Wing K. Lee said by providing complimentary access to ILMUchat Pro, the company is ensuring that millions of Malaysians can benefit from the latest advances in AI, powered by technology developed in Malaysia.

"If you are not a Yes customer yet, you can experience the most advanced network in Malaysia paired with Malaysia’s sovereign AI, starting from only RM10 with our Yes 5G advanced prepaid starter pack today,” he said.

According to the statement, users can create presentation slides, design posters, and build mini-applications and games directly on ILMUchat, aside from text generation.

They can also use ILMUchat to draft letters, proposals and messages, and send them directly via WhatsApp or email with a single click.

ILMUchat is now available on the web, Apple App Store, Google Play Store and the MyYes App, with an ILMUchat Pro plan offering unlimited access to advanced features for RM50 per month. - Bernama
