ICT Zone Asia secures RM28mil deal


PETALING JAYA: ICT Zone Asia Bhd has received a purchase order (PO) worth RM28.13mil from MRA International Sdn Bhd for the leasing of information and communication technology (ICT) hardware for a period of 36 months.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, ICT Zone Asia said the PO involves the leasing of ICT hardware, including, among others, desktops, laptops, printers and scanners to MRA International for its delivery to a government agency. The PO will be carried out without any provision of ICT services, with the commencement date to be determined and agreed upon by both parties in due course, said the company.

“The company proposes to utilise bank borrowings and/or internally generated funds to finance the purchase of ICT hardware for the purpose of the lease,” it explained. MRA International is principally involved in the business of engineering services in the fields of oil and gas and information technology

, as well as the supply of chemical products.
