SNS Network eyes growth from digital demand

PETALING JAYA: SNS Network Technology Bhd believes structural shifts in the digital space will present meaningful opportunities for the company to deepen its role within the technology value chain.

Chairman Datuk Zulkapli Ahmad said the information and communications technology (ICT) company remains optimistic as digital transformation across both the public and private sectors continues to accelerate, while artificial intelligence (AI) adoption progresses from exploratory initiatives to mission-critical deployment.

“Moving forward, our strategic focus will be centred on expanding recurring and solution-based revenue streams to enhance earnings visibility and long-term sustainability.

“We will continue scaling our AI and high-performance computing capabilities to meet the growing demand for data-intensive applications, while strengthening our enterprise solutions and managed services offerings to deliver greater value to customers,” he said in the company’s annual report.

For the financial year ended Jan 31, 2026, SNS Network’s net profit rose to RM45.97mil from RM30.3mil in the previous corresponding period, while revenue grew to RM3.3bil from RM1.02bil a year earlier.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on its latest financial performance, the company expects the ICT products and services industry to maintain robust growth, driven by the increasing integration of technology into daily life and business operations.

“Key contributing factors include the regular device replacement cycle, ongoing technological advancements, government-led digital transformation, and the adoption of ICT to promote digital education in schools.”

SNS Network said it has further expanded its physical presence across Malaysia over the past year to capitalise on the positive industry outlook.

The company has opened several new multi-brand and brand-specific stores in Penang and Selangor to support a broader customer base.

“As businesses increasingly seek greater flexibility and control over the deployment of ICT products and services to better align with operational requirements, the shift away from large upfront capital investments is gaining momentum.

“In this context, demand for device-as-a-service (DaaS) subscriptions is expected to grow steadily over the long term.”

SNS Network remains focused on expanding its DaaS offerings to support both existing and future subscription agreements.

“Looking ahead, the group remains firmly committed to innovation, with a strategic focus on adopting emerging technologies that align with its mission and core values.

“The group recognises the transformative potential of AI and anticipates that it will play a pivotal role in driving future growth and success,” SNS Network highlighted.

An analyst said the company’s positioning within the country’s developing AI ecosystem, together with the broader macroeconomic environment, positions it favourably.

“Rising investments in AI, data centres and digital infrastructure are creating favourable conditions for ICT solution providers like SNS Network.

“As enterprises continue modernising their operations, demand for enterprise hardware, cloud integration and AI-related solutions is expected to remain healthy over the next few years.”
