Trader Curtice quits after a year

LONDON: Macro trader John Curtice, who joined Brevan Howard Asset Management last year, has left the hedge fund firm, according to people with knowledge of his departure.

Geneva-based Curtice had joined Brevan Howard in February 2025 and traded for the firm’s flagship US$11.2bil Master Fund.

He specialised in making high-conviction leveraged macro trading bets and previously worked at Izzy Englander’s Millennium Management, which once offered him an opportunity to earn more than US$50mil.
