MNRB 4Q bottom line rises 21.7%


The company said the performance reflected its continued business expansion and sustained market position.

PETALING JAYA: Reinsurer and takaful operator MNRB Holdings Bhd recorded a 21.7% rise in net profit to RM113.7mil for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2026 (4Q26) compared to 4Q25 on revenue that grew 7.9% to RM1bil.

The company’s net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2026 (FY26) rose 38.3% to RM545.4mil compared to FY25 while revenue increased 11% to RM3.9bil on improved performance in the general takaful, family takaful and retakaful businesses.

It said the performance reflected the company’s continued business expansion and sustained market position. “Revenue momentum was further supported by higher net investment income, in line with the recovery in the Malaysian capital markets during the year,” it said in a stock exchange filing.
