Bina Darulaman unit bags RM251.65mil road maintenance works in Kedah


KUALA LUMPUR: Bina Darulaman Bhd (BDB) said its wholly-owned subsidiary BDB Infra Sdn Bhd has secured a RM251.65mil contract for state road maintenance works from the Kedah state government.

The group said the contract involves road maintenance works in Zone 1, which comprises the districts of Kota Setar, Kubang Pasu, Padang Terap and Pokok Sena.

The contract will be carried out over five years from the date of site possession on June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2031.

BDB group CEO Che Abdul Khalid Md Din said the contract award is a meaningful recognition for BDB Group and BDB Infra, reflecting its extensive experience and proven track record in the road maintenance and construction sector.

“BDB remains committed to ensuring the project is implemented in accordance with the required specifications and standards to enhance the safety and comfort of road users in Kedah,” he said in a statement.
