iCents wins RM34mil DC contract


PETALING JAYA: iCents Group Holdings Bhd has secured a RM34.54mil sub-contract for works related to a data centre (DC) project.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said its wholly-owned subsidiary, VC Engineering Sdn Bhd, has accepted a letter of award from a local construction company, which it did not name.

The group also did not disclose the DC project involved.

The sub-contract covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, as well as maintenance of the air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation system for the DC project.

The project is expected to be completed by Feb 15, 2027. Shares of iCents closed half a sen or 1.3% higher at 39 sen yesterday, giving the group a market capitalisation of about RM195mil.
