Pos Malaysia unit gets RM100mil loan


PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pos Ar-Rahnu Sdn Bhd, has secured a short-term revolving credit-i facility of up to RM100mil from Maybank Islamic Bhd.

“The facility is intended for general corporate and internal group funding purposes.

“Pos Malaysia will execute a corporate guarantee of RM100mil in favour of Maybank Islamic in respect of the facility,” Pos Malaysia noted in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The facility includes conditions requiring Pos Ar-Rahnu to remain a subsidiary of Pos Malaysia throughout the tenure of the financing, as well as restrictions on dividend payments or advances without prior consent from the financier.
