Pekat unit inks PPA with Dutch Lady


KUALA LUMPUR: Pekat Group Bhd said its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary Pekat Solar Sdn Bhd has entered into a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd for the generation and supply of solar photovoltaic energy.

In a stock exchange filing, the group said Pekat Solar will design, construct, install, own, operate and maintain a solar photovoltaic system with a direct current capacity of 3,960.13 kWp to be installed on the rooftop of the premises of Dutch Lady located at Taman Teknologi 2 @ Enstek, Bandar Enstek, in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.

The PPA period shall be a term of 15 years commencing from the commercial operation date, which is expected to be in the fourth quarter of 2026.
