GIIB gets UMA query from Bursa after 50% surge


PETALING JAYA: GIIB Holdings Bhd has confirmed it is exploring a potential investment in a healthcare-related business, following a query from Bursa Malaysia over a sharp surge in its share price and trading activity.

The counter rose as much as 50% to 16.5 sen during intraday trading on May 4 before closing at 16 sen, up about 45.5% for the day and marking its highest level in more than four years.
