Aumas Resources appoints Chong Tzu Khen as CEO


KUALA LUMPUR: Aumas Resources Bhd has appointed Chong Tzu Khen as its chief executive officer, effective May 1, 2026.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the gold miner said Chong, 68, has extensive experience in finance and corporate services, and previously served as executive director and CEO of the group between May 2023 and July 2025.

Chong holds a Master of Financial Planning from the University of Sunshine Coast, Australia, and postgraduate and undergraduate certificates in sustainable aquaculture from the University of St Andrews, Scotland.

He is also a fellow member of the Malaysian Association of Company Secretaries.

He has held various roles over his career, including finance manager within the group, director of subsidiaries, and managing director of Teguh Niagamaju Sdn Bhd. He began his career as an audit assistant before moving into accounting and corporate advisory roles.
