PETALING JAYA: Eden Inc Bhd stated its indirect own company DC Solar One Sdn Bhd (DCSO), has achieved financial close for its proposed 29.99MW large-scale solar photovoltaic plant in Gebeng, Kuantan, Pahang.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Eden noted DCSO executed the relevant financing agreements with Bank Islam Malaysia Bhd for financing of up to RM116mil, and thereby meeting the financial close requirement under the 21-year power purchase agreement (PPA) signed with Tenaga Nasional Bhd as the offtaker.

The project is expected to commence commercial operations no later than July 28, 2027.
