Destini secures RM4.4mil contract for MRO services

PETALING JAYA: Destini Bhd’s subsidiary, Trovon Malaysia Sdn Bhd has bagged a RM4.4mil contract from CRRC Rolling Stock Center (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) of 13 Diesel Multiple Unit (DMU) trainsets.

Trovon Malaysia serves as the specialised component MRO arm of Destini's Mobility Segment.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the integrated engineering solutions provider said the project will be for a duration of 34 months and will focus on high-level technical remediation of critical rail subsystems.

Group managing director Datuk Seri Dr Shahril Mokhtar said the group is stepping up its efforts and actively pursuing future contracts within its business verticals to drive growth in revenue and profitability.

“The contract secured by Trovon further enhances the Group's growth trajectory, and we remain confident in our ability to convert the active opportunities within our immediate pipeline as we move forward,” he said.
