Bina Puri secures RM156.45mil Sarawak road contract


PETALING JAYA: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has secured a RM156.45mil contract for road construction and upgrading works in Sarawak.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company noted its unit, Bina Puri Builder Sdn Bhd, had accepted a letter of award from Easter Synergy Sdn Bhd on Apr 16, 2026.

The contract involves the company's appointment as the main contractor for road infrastructure works in the Simunjan and Samarahan regions.

The job scope of this contract includes site clearing, earthworks, geotechnical and piling works, drainage and culvert construction, pavement works, bridge construction, as well as environmental protection and enhancement measures, it said.

The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months, with targeted completion by the end of the fourth quarter of 2028.
