Mitrajaya wins RM54mil data centre contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Mitrajaya Holdings Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Mitrajaya Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM54mil contract for early works on a data centre project in Kuala Lumpur.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said Pembinaan Mitrajaya had on March 4 accepted and executed a letter of acceptance for the contract awarded by NEXTDC Sdn Bhd.

The contract involves the construction of the KL1 Stage 4 Data Centre ST4-GC01 early works and is expected to be completed by October 2026.

In the meantime, Mitrajaya said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026.
