AirAsia X names Jamaludin Ibrahim as non-executive director

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia X Bhd has appointed Tan Sri Jamaludin Ibrahim as its new non-executive director, effective today.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the airline said Jamaludin, 66, previously served as the chairman of AirAsia Aviation Group Ltd and Prasarana Malaysia, as well as a director in Sunway Bhd.

He is currently the chairman of QSR Brands Holdings and a board member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), as well as two public-listed companies in Australia, SEEK Ltd and NEXTDC Ltd.

He also serves as pro-chancellor of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). - Bernama
