UUE bags Singapore contracts


PETALING JAYA: UUE Holdings Bhd announced that its wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore, Konnection Engineering Pte Ltd, has accepted two subcontract awards from Wee Guan Construction Pte Ltd yesterday.

The contracts relate to the installation of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes for underground 400kV power cable infrastructure works in West Jurong Island, Singapore.

The projects form part of SP PowerAssets Limited’s power cable installation programme, with the main works awarded to TAIHAN Cable & Solution Co, Ltd (Singapore Branch) and China International Water & Electric Corp (S) Pte Ltd.

Konnection Engineering’s scope of work involves the supply of materials, labour, equipment, and related resources for HDPE pipe installation using the horizontal directional drilling method, in compliance with the main contract requirements.
